July 19, 2016, Tuesday — Train from Vancouver to Kamloops

Anika's Notes

We got ready to go on a bus to take us to this really fancy train. We rode the train and I got to poke my head outside of the train and we had breakfast and lunch on the train. We skipped dinner and went to bed.

We were piped aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train with bagpipes at the Vancouver station, and followed the Fraser River out from the city. The Fraser River is the longest in Canada.

coming into Kamloops

We stopped for the night in the town of Kamloops, where we stayed at the Thompson Hotel. While Anika took a bath, Arthur and I walked to the park for a concert, but it was loud rock, so we came back and walked on a route to view more Big Art murals.
