We drove to a mining museum in Salmon, Idaho, which had a nice collection of ores, and of Indian, miner, and settler paraphernalia. It also had some great old photographs of Indians and settlers, but the lady at the desk had very little idea of dates for the photos.

After the museum we went to the Lemhi County Fair, had some lunch with all the cowpeople, went through the crafts shed (but we missed the animal sheds with horses, cows, sheep, and chickens.

Thursday, August 26th, 2004 Day 25
Dear Journal,
Today I built a fort and did my journal inside it, which made it fun. Then we went to a mining museum and saw lots of types of ore. After that, we went to the county fair, saw the winning entrys, and rode the ferris wheel. Then we went to another IC and learned about the different types of lodges. After that, we had dinner and fell asleep.
Aron

We were too early for the County Fair rides, so we went to the Sacagawea Center and a walk showing different homes the Selish, Shoshones, and other tribes made.

Back to the fair where Aron and I rode on the Ferris Wheel. Then back to the B&B for a rest.
